The presentation, entitled “Light-Cone-Based Quantum Circuit Learning for Failure-Aware Simulation of 1D Spin Chains”, reported his research on improving the reliability of shallow-circuit simulations of real-time quantum dynamics.

The project combines a physics-guided variational circuit architecture with machine-learning-based diagnostics. The proposed approach uses the light-cone structure of quantum dynamics to guide circuit design and analyzes early-time fidelity, depth feasibility, and bond-layer sensitivity to identify reliable circuit configurations.

During the poster session, ZiYi discussed the motivation, circuit architecture, numerical benchmarks, and machine-learning-guided design strategy with participants from a broad range of research fields.

The presentation marked the completion of his FrontierLab research activities with the Ueda Group.
