Zhiyu Jiang Presents at the 13th TCCT Quantum Control Workshop

Zhiyu Jiang gave a talk at the 13th TCCT Quantum Control Workshop held in Shenyang.
The talk, entitled “Isometrization of Tensor Network States via Gauge Propagation”, presented recent work by Zhiyu Jiang and Hiroshi Ueda on approximate isometrization of tensor-network states using gauge propagation.
This work introduces a practical framework for converting generic tensor-network states into approximately isometric forms with a prescribed orthogonality center. The method is motivated by tensor-network representations of quantum many-body states and aims to provide useful building blocks for isometric tensor-network algorithms.

Zhiyu Jiang is a Specially Appointed Researcher at the Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology, The University of Osaka.
His research interests include quantum computing, quantum algorithms, tensor networks, open quantum systems, non-Hermitian systems, quantum walks, and topological phases.
